After 39 distinguished years of practicing plastic surgery, David A. Grant, M.D. F.A.C.S., has entered into an exciting new endeavor using non-surgical, non-invasive procedures to enhance, mold, shape and improve skin and bodies.
Dr. Grant has come to realize that while surgical techniques alone can produce gratifying results, certain aspects such as fine lines, sun damage, skin discolorations or the "orange peel" textures that appear on the lower body require additional alternative measures. Hence, he opened La Forme Chic in 1997 to patients wanting treatments that could be addressed without surgery or as an excellent way to help enhance their surgical procedures. These new approaches to skin conditioning and repair allow Dr. Grant to offer his patients a more complete program for correction of the aging process.
Dr. Grant received his B.A. and M.D. degrees from the University of Texas, followed by a surgical internship at Emory University Hospital. He completed his general surgical residency followed by plastic surgery residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch Hospitals.
He holds Board Certification in both general and plastic surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, has served as President of the Texas Society of Plastic Surgeons, Fort Worth Society of Plastic Surgeons, Fort Worth Surgical Society and the Rotary Club of Fort Worth - South. Additionally, he has held positions as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of HCA Medical Plaza Hospital, Chief of Surgery of Harris Hospital, and Parliamentarian of the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, as well as having served as a delegate to the A.M.A.
